Companies who invest in good design are more profitable and have become industry giants ( like IBM, Apple, Microsoft, Google ). I think companies are finally realizing the intrinsic and extrinsic value of good design, which is great!
I'm an interaction design professional with extensive experience collaborating with product management and development decision makers to define next generation information architecture and ontology, storyboarding user workflows and interactive prototypes using high-fidelity wireframes.
My approach is two fold. One, to co-create with the customer. Two, utilize the agile process for developing the product. This also ensures we design with local context and culture in mind. On a team or standalone, I design for scalability, SEO placement, and most importantly...a great user experience!
